Nephews

I just had to take a minute to post some pictures of the nephews. Their Aunt Cami & Uncle Phillip really miss them and we're looking forward to seeing them in the summer...

Here's Jack Henry

And the triplets from L to R: Luke, Alex, Isaac

We are also greatly anticipating the arrival of nephew #5 "Cinco" in May, so we can put his picture up too! Boys, we love you and we're thankful for how special each one of you are to us.

The Hag 4 Hillary?

Well, it seems like it all may be too far gone...

Country music legend, and a singer near and dear to my heart, "Mighty" Merle Haggard has decided to pay tribute to a person not so dear to me-Hillary Clinton-in his new song "Hillary."

What happened to "Okie from Muskogee", "The Fightin Side of Me", and even "Mama Tried"? But my personal favorite song to attest to the matter at hand is "Rainbow Stew" and here is an excerpt:

You don't have to get high to get happy,
Just think about what's in store.
When people start doin' what they oughta be doin',
Then they won't be booin' no more.
When a President goes through the White House door,
An' does what he says he'll do.
We'll all be drinkin' free bubble-ubb,
Eatin' that rainbow stew.

Merle is calling for some integrity here and it is apparently not coming from a woman in the White House! Much less one whose husband doesn't know what the definition of the word 'is' is...

I must admit that this is not "My Favorite Mem'ry of All" and in fact I can't just say well "That's the Way Love Goes." The real question at hand is if a 2nd Clinton comes to reside in the White House, I truly don't know "If we make it through December we'll be fine"...

Blue Bell Update

According to BlueBell.com...

The Best Ice Cream in the Country Comes to Louisville

Starting on Monday, March 12, residents of Louisville will be able to get their first taste of what the rest of the South has been talking about—Blue Bell Ice Cream from Brenham, Texas.

Blue Bell has moved into temporary quarters at 2501 Millers Lane in West Louisville. The new distribution center will serve markets within about a 100-mile radius of Louisville with a total population of approximately 1.2 million people. Driver salesmen are being hired from the Louisville area to work at the new Blue Bell branch office.

Products will be sold initially in the Louisville area at Kroger and Wal-Mart, as well as at other chains and independent grocery stores. Blue Bell Ice Cream is also featured at all Carraba’s and Outback Steakhouse restaurants.
